A bigger library *WorldCat*

Occasionally it happens. We try hard. We try very hard. But we might not have the book you are looking for. You can always count on the inter-library loan staff to find what you need, or now you can try looking for it yourself in the world's largest network of library content and services.
Click here and then scroll down to "WorldCat." You'll find a search box to type in a title, subject or person. If you want to see the home page of WorldCat click here.
It's exciting to see what kinds of books and other materials you can find. The world is at your fingertips!
*** In case you hadn't realized, the Cat in WorldCat is short for catalog. A nice abbreviation for a very cat-friendly blog!

Equal time for dogs

Here's a real Honey of a dog! Honey belongs to Laura who you may remember as being a Noted Windham County Resident. She devotes a lot of her time to helping dogs and cats, and if you ever have a question about stray animals, she is the one to ask. She does the accounting for the library and is often seen behind the circulation desk.

Oh.... and she has cats, too!
