Learning ASL (L is for Library)

Here's another thing you can do this summer. Here in Brattleboro we have a large deaf population. ASL (American Sign Language) is a way to communicate with a deaf person. It's like learning another language. If you have some time this summer, why not try learning ASL using an online resource. Check out this site for some learning tools. The ASL Level One class is free and is a good basic course to get you started.

Of course the library also has books to help you. Look upstairs on the mezzanine. The call number is 419.
