Survivor Change

Though the voting has yet to begin, I'm making one change in the "participants." We're going to remove John Green's "Looking for Alaska" since we can't get multiple copies of it on time. This is a really interesting book and we'll hope to get it on the island next summer.

Meanwhile, we're adding Return to Gill Park, by Amy Gordon. This book was highly recommended by a TAB member. Here's a short summary: "When thirteen-year-old Willy Wilson returns to Gloria to enroll in Gill Park Gallery School, he finds himself in the middle of a politically backed struggle to save the park and to solve a treasure hunt."

Multiple copies of all Survivor Books should be available by the end of this week. You'll find them on a display in front of the Teen Room.
