Periodical Profile: GamePro

It’s time to take a look at another one of the periodicals found in Brooks’ YA collection. This month’s magazine has a very specific focus. In fact, it’s devoted to one subject, and one subject only – gaming! It’s called GamePro, and it’s a monthly magazine that can be found in the YA magazine shelves.

This magazine is great because it features a lot of information about new and upcoming games. The cover article is usually about the hot new release of the month – in October, it is Call of Duty: World at War. The magazine reviews games that can be played on a variety of gaming consoles, and takes you behind the scenes to show you how the games are made. If you’re in the market for a new console, you might want to read the October issue, which features an “Ultimate Console Guide” exploring the various strengths and weaknesses of the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3, Wii, Sony PSP, and Nintendo DS.
