The Real World

Want to "go" to UC Berkeley? For free? You can do it here. Just follow the links to get to some of their college courses right on line. Recently some colleges are experimenting with using podcasting for lectures. But Berkeley is the only one (so far?) that has made course lectures available to anyone. All you need is a version of iTunes to listen to lectures on biology, economics, history, polysci and more. If you’re going to college next year and are nervous about what college will be like, try listening to some of these lectures to prepare yourself. I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing you can listen on your iPod as well.
Switching gears, I’ve been reading in the Reformer about CLEA advocating for a “sweat-free” school. If you’re interested in what you can do to help make the world a better place when you shop, check out Good Stuff.
