Just Unpacked!

Here are some new titles that have arrived at the library and will be available to check out very soon. Remember, you can put a hold on these books even if they are still not available. You might even be the first person to get the book! Check the catalog and be sure to do a title search to find these books. The titles are all in red here, except the last one... but you'll figure that one out!

If you are a fan of Lurlene McDaniel, then you’ll want to take a look at this brand new series called Angels in Pink. It’s about three girls that volunteer in a hospital. We have one called Kathleen’s Story and if it proves popular, we’ll order the other two. This is a hardcover book, so look for it on the YA fiction shelf and not the paperback carousal. If you read and liked Melissa Kantor’s Confessions of a Not It Girl, then you’ll want to read If I Have a Wicked Stepmother, Where’s My Prince? On a more serious note is a book by Sarah Dessen called The Truth About Forever which deals with grief and a death in the family. The library has two other titles by this author so you may already be familiar with her works.

Manga fans will be excited to hear that we’ve got the first volume of the Trigun Series. And if you are a graphic fiction or manga fan, do stay tuned for more to come. Meanwhile, we have also rounded out an Australia-based John Marsden series with the purchases of Night is for Hunting and Burning for Revenge. And finally, all you fans of Alex Sanchez’s trilogy will be excited to read the final installment, called Rainbow Road.
